FIGHTING FOR GENERATIONAL BLESSINGS TO FLOW FOR 1,000 GENERATIONS!

The focus for March will be the concept of identifying generational strongholds. These are entrenched beliefs, mindsets, and family patterns that are passed on from one generation to another. They can be extremely familiar and seem “normal.” They, in fact, seem so acceptable that they get adopted as…

“That’s just how we are!”  

Examples could be divorces in every generation. Sexual sin such as fornication, adultery, perversion, and even homosexuality. There could be hatred for other cultures and races that is normal, familiar and expected. There could be witchcraft and sorcery woven in as normal and undetected.

There could be fear, anxiety and stress that rules the family. It’s excused away as normal and OK. 

This blog is being written to shine the light on these behaviors as contrary to God’s plan and purpose for a Christian’s life. These beliefs and strongholds can be demolished and completely REMOVED from family lines. You may be the one called to do that for your current family and future generations.

Calling all brave warriors!

If you are ready to start the process of that, below is a powerful prayer  that will allow you to forgive, renounce and remove those strongholds. The good news is, you can  then receive a divine exchange and a TRUTH BLESSING! That blessing can then become your new generational BLESSING that will flow for 1,000 generations of those that love God. 

Prayer to Break Generational Sin and Strongholds

Today I choose to forgive everyone in my generations all the way back as far as necessary for the stronghold of __________________________________________.

I forgive them for how it has affected my spirit, soul, and body. I confess ____________________ as sin coming against me and my family line. I repent for partnering, joining with, acting out, or agreeing with:

______________________________________________________ I place the cross of Jesus in my generational bloodline now, between me and ___________________ because Jesus nailed _________________ to the cross. I renounce this ungodly part of my generations. I completely and permanently break all agreements with it. In the name of Jesus, I take authority  over______________________, and I command its power to be broken now. (Clap loudly!) I command all evil influences associated with _____________ to leave me and my family/future now. I command any trauma, shame, or pain out of my emotions, thoughts, words, and body memory now! Jesus, completely wash me with your blood. In place of____________________________ __________________________________________, I now receive _____________________________________________________.

(Write in your journal and your divine exchange prayer below. It’s important to declare it and decree for 63 days until this becomes complete truth to you.)

Declaration: I declare my divine exchange: __________________

____________________________________ I have received today. I am exchanging my family generational stronghold and sin into a blessing today. Thank You, Jesus, for my new generational blessing, flowing for 1,000 generations. I seal this in my spirit in the mighty name of Jesus! AMEN!

“I’M A FREEDOM FIGHTER!”

 Many times when  asked to sum up my calling and gifting I’ll say:

 “I’M A FREEDOM FIGHTER!” 

My personal freedom fighter story goes back multiple generations. I’ve come to believe in “the synergy of the ages” (Quote from Dutch Sheets in his “An Appeal to Heaven” book). What our forefathers believed and prayed for can intersect our lives with Heaven waiting for the exact right timing to invade Earth. We can become the answer to prayers they were “appealing to Heaven” about centuries ago. Along with blessings, it’s possible to carry generational strongholds and mindsets that need God’s intervention. My journey reflects both divine tensions.

In the last several years, I’ve become aware through family research that my father’s ancestors came to the “New World” in the early 1630s. Many came as pilgrims seeking a better life and religious freedom. They were brave, hard-working, patriotic men and women. Many were being persecuted for their faith. Most were northern European Protestants, carrying the family name of Witbeck, named after the village they lived in (located in the present-day Holstein region of Northern Germany).

I’m proud to say my ancestors were willing to lay their lives down for the cause of freedom. They longed to worship God without the political and religious rules and regulations of Europe. Being true forerunners and trailblazers, they risked everything to cross the Atlantic to the unchartered land of the Americas.

Many accounts of heroism and bravery were woven into the stories of my Father’s bloodline. They were sturdy, resourceful, and willing to become true “freedom fighters” in this new land. All records show my family fought bravely for the cause of freedom in every major war on American soil for over three centuries. From sea to shining sea, they took up arms for life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness.

During the Revolutionary War, they fought against tyranny from Great Britain. In the Civil War, the fight was against human slavery. Numerous members of my family fought in both World Wars of the 1900s. To help maintain world freedom, my father served in The Battle of the Bulge, receiving a medal of honor and surviving some of the bloodiest battles fought in WW2.

Through researching my heritage, I began connecting parallels with my own life. It was easy to see where my calling and desire to be a “freedom fighter” intersected with my forefathers. It’s true. I haven’t fought flesh and blood wars on battlefields as they had. However, God has called me to fight for the release of people held in many forms of spiritual captivity and slavery.

Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of seeing hundreds of people released from many bondages, addictions, and even the slavery of prostitution and human trafficking. It’s been amazing to witness chains falling off as captives are set free. He has given me Isaiah 61:1 as my inheritance word. It was also the Mission Statement of Jesus:

“The Spirit of the Lord God is upon me because the Lord anointed me to bring good news to the humble; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, release captives…”
